MfD, HN: ČEZ ranks first in Czech 100 Best contest

Prague, Nov 28 (CTK) - CEZ energy group ranked first for the fourth time in
a row in the Czech 100 Best competition, according to the results published
by Mlada fronta dnes and Hospodarske noviny dailies on Friday.

Skoda Auto car maker came second and Vodafone mobile network operator
replaced Kooperativa insurer on the third place. Skoda Holding engineering
group, Microsoft software business, Veletrhy Brno trade fairs organiser,
Allianz Pojistovna insurer, Eurest catering company, Deloitte Advisory and
glass maker AGC Flat Glass Czech were listed among the top ten businesses
in the Czech Republic.

Telefonica O2 and T-Mobile operators did not make it to the top ten in this
year's round.

CK Exim Tours ranked first in tourism and hospitality, telecoms firm
CD-Telematika won in the information and communication technologies and
Lasselsberger ceramics business came first in the construction and industry
category. Agrotech food company won the agriculture and food category.

The aim of the competition is to make businesses with various backgrounds
registered in the Czech Republic more visible. Businesses participating in
the competition must pay taxes in the Czech Republic, employ at least 20
staff and post annual sales higher than Kc30m. The evaluation system of the
competition is based on the knowledge and experience of a wide spectrum of
selected experts.
