Vodafone ups no. of clients by 114,000 to 3.006m last year

Prague, Feb 4 (CTK) - Mobile phone operator Vodafone increased the number of clients by 114,000 to 3.006 million in the Czech Republic last year, the firm said in a press release yesterday.
In Q4 2009, Vodafone's number of clients rose by 22,000, the firm said.
Average monthly yield per customer dropped from 583 to Kc514 in Q4 2009.
"That we are able to keep growing on a very saturated market shows that people appreciate our customer-oriented offers which allow them to use multi-media services which, in turn, strengthens their satisfaction with our services," CEO Muriel Anton said.
Rival operators have not made their last year results public yet. At end-Sept, T-Mobile had nearly 5.5 million customers and Telefonica O2 4.9 million.
