Prague, May 20 (CTK) - The famous Dukla Praha football club, which was champion of the Czechoslovak first league 11 times, will play the top Czech league after 17 years again since it is clear Dukla will advance from the second league this season.

Dukla beat Kladno Friday also thanks to Cameroon striker Chigou who is the best scorer of the second league this season.

After Dukla's victory it is clear that the team will play the first league next season.

Three rounds ahead the end of the second league, Dukla is very likely to win and even if it ended in the second position, it would advance.

Dukla will be back in the top league, which it left in 1994 and then dropped to the third league due to financial problems. In 2007 the club was renewed and now it has succeeded in returning to the elite competition.

Dukla was one of the best Czechoslovak football teams in the late 1950s and the 1960s and then in the late 1970s and the early 1980. The club was originally established by the Czechoslovak army in 1948.

Among its best players were Zdenek Nehoda, Ladislav Vizek, Milan Luhovy, Josef Masopust and goalkeeper Ivo Viktor.
