Within her European Tour with a concert performance of Tchaikovsky’s romantic opera Iolanta, the star of Anna Netrebko will finally shine in Prague. She made her debut in the title role of the blind princess Iolanta who gains her sight through her love to Count Vaudémont at the opera co-production of Mariinsky Theater, St. Petersburg and Festspielhaus in Baden Baden under the baton of Valery Gergiev. This character expanded the roster of her dazzling roles and her Iolanta enthralled audience in Baden-Baden, St. Petersburg, and in 2011 also in Salzburg. During this tour she will be accompanied by the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and French conductor Emmanuel Villaume. This project and role is very dear and precious for Anna Netrebko. The artist also personally demanded Prague to be a part of her European tour!
