Václav Havel exhibit opens today

Between 15 June and 6 July, Prague's Old Town Hall is showcasing photos of Václav Havel taken by Czech Press Agency reporters between 1988 and 2011.

Marking the half-year anniversary of Havel's death, Czech Press Agency has compiled the best of Havel as a president and beyond, selecting the most interesting of shots rather than tracing historical milestones.

The collection of about 100 large-format photographs promises a number of never-published-before shots and a peak into the former president’s personal life. As a not-for-profit event, the tickets sold are to cover expenses.
