JT International voted best employer in 2012

Prague, Sept 18 (CTK) - Tobacco company JT International is the winner of the 9th annual contest for the Best Employer of the Czech Republic, followed by the companies Et netera and Microsoft, according to results of the contest organised by consulting company Aon Hewitt.

A total of 59 companies from different sectors had registered for the contest this year, three-fourths of them small and mid-sized businesses with up to 250 staff.

Major criteria were employee motivation, reliable management, prestige of the brand and sustainability of results.

"Despite the European and global trends, Czech employee motivation declined between 2010 and 2011. This year we have registered a return to the positive trend of the years 2008 - 2010. Results of this year's study have shown that the average rate of motivation of Czech employees grew to 54 percent in annual terms," said project manager Hana Veliskova.
