Aktuálně.cz: Ústí Region divided orders to fellow party members

Usti nad Labem, North Bohemia, Oct 21 (CTK) - The Usti Region Council, in which members of the Czech CSSD and ODS were sitting in the past four years, divided construction orders to fellow party members shortly before the recent regional polls, Aktualne.cz server wrote Sunday.

The orders are worth about 250 million crowns. The region dismisses circumventing law, Aktualne.cz wrote.

It wrote that these are no isolated case.

The biggest volume of public money went to the Usti firm Insky from EDS Holding, renamed to Salem Construction that is owned by Zdenek Pejsa, member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) in USti, Aktulane.cz wrote.

It said the regional council placed four orders for almost 60 million crowns with Insky at the last moment.

Other orders for 45 million crowns went to Allkon firm in which Antonin Hurt, Social Democrat (CSSD) councillor in Mezibori, and brother of Social Democrat Vit Janouskovec figure, the server wrote.
