Brno, Oct 23 (CTK) - Student Agency of entrepreneur Radim Jancura raised net profit by 13 percent, from Kc75.6m to Kc85.7m, last year and its turnover grew from Kc1.17bn to Kc1.28bn, according to the company's annual report made public in the Collection of Documents.

The Brno-based company wants to have turnover worth over Kc6bn and profit higher by up to 30 percent this year, spokesman Ales Ondruj said for server iDNES.cz.

This year, Kc5.5bn flew through the company but only commission from air tickets is included in its accounting, not their full price.

The growth in sales came thanks to higher sales of bus tickets, air tickets and package tours via portal dovolena.cz. Buses are a key business for Jancura and revenues from them attacked the Kc1bn level last year.

On the other hand, au-pair stays, with which the company started its business activities, are getting into the background.

"Our business in Slovakia also grew a lot," Ondruj added for CTK.

Subsidiary RegioJet, which launched long-distance railway transport from Prague to Ostrava and regional transport in southwestern Slovakia last year, is not included in the accounting, either.

Revenues from advertising soared by almost 300 percent to Kc387m last year. Workforce was cut from 859 to 812 people and the number of managers decreased from 65 to 41.
