Mladá fronta's loss deepens to CZK 35.8m in 2011

Prague, Dec 11 (CTK) - Publishing house Mlada fronta made a Kc35.8m loss last year against a Kc27.5m loss in 2010 and its sales decreased by roughly a fifth to Kc1.13bn, according to the company's financial statement for 2011, server MediaGuru.cz. has informed.

Advertising revenues worth Kc855.8m made up most of the total sales, and sales of magazines brought in Kc232.5m.

Mlada fronta's portfolio includes magazines Dieta, Lide a Zeme and Strategie. Apart from magazines and daily Mlada fronta E15, the company publishes also books whose sales generated Kc56.7m last year.
