Police: EU foreigner dies in bomb blast, probably suicide
Ceske Velenice, South Bohemia, Jan 19 (CTK) - A 42-year-old man from a foreign European country died Saturday morning in an explosion of a bomb fastened to his body close to the border with Austria, the Czech police reported.
The man probably committed suicide, South Bohemian police spokeswoman Stepanka Uhlirova told CTK.
The man's identity is known. Police expert are investigating the case on the spot.
It is not yet known what kind of explosive the man used.
The iDnes news server wrote that the man was an Austrian citizen.
The blast occurred outside a prefab house near the train station in Ceske Velenice. The man died on the spot and nobody else was injured, iDnes writes.
