Czech humanitarian group awards doctor of Yemeni origin
Prague, Feb 20 (CTK) - Helios, a humanitarian organisation of doctors in support of injured and sick children in war and crisis regions, seated in the Czech Republic, Wednesday awarded Fouad Al Hadri, a doctor of Yemeni origin working in a Czech sanatorium, Helios head Tatjana Horakova told CTK.
She said Al Hadri was awarded for his humane attitude towards patients and for his medical skills.
Al Hadri is a surgeon applying his own method of treating chronic wounds using bee products.
Horakova said this method could be used in crisis regions.
Helios doctors helped in war conflicts in Chechnya, Bosnia, Yugoslavia and during the previous war in Iraq. They are against any type of aggression based on this experience, Horakova said.
