Prague, March 1 (CTK) - The police will check the lucrative jobs given to three deputies for the Czech Civic Democratic Party (ODS) on suspicion of corruption, the server iDnes.cz writes Friday.

The criminal complaint was lodged by lawyer Vaclav Laska who is of the view that former ODS deputies Marek Snajdr, Petr Tluchor and Ivan Fuksa are guilty of bribery by accepting the lucrative posts.

Prime Minister Petr Necas (ODS) bribed them, Laska said.

Snajdr, Tluchor and Fuksa gave up their MP's mandates in November 2012 to enable the passage of the government tax package with which they previously disagreed.

In December Snajdr was appointed a member of the supervisory board of Cepro company. Fuksa became managing director of Czech Aeroholding in January and Tluchor will gain a post in the CEZ national power company, media has written.

Laska, a collaborator of Transparency International, filed the complaint about the three former deputies and Necas.

The proposal was first rejected by the Prague 1 state attorney's office, but Laska then succeeded with his appeal, the server writes.

"We have ruled that the decision on the halt was premature. We have issued a binding instruction that the complaint be passed to the police for investigation," Prague state attorney's office spokeswoman Stepanka Zenklova told iDnes.cz Friday.

Laska said he welcomed the decision.

"However, it can easily happen that after the questioning, the case will be shelved," Laska said.

He said the circumstances of the affair would have to be explained for the police files.
