Špotáková expecting second baby

Czechs nominate 89 athletes to Korean Olympics, four may be added

Biathlete Koukalová to be absent from Olympic Games

Czech biathlete Gabriela Koukalova, 28, will not participate in the forthcoming Winter Olympics to take place in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from February 9 to 25, Jiri Hamza, the head of the Czech Biathlon Association, told journalists on Friday.

Footballer Tomáš Rosický retires

Tomáš Rosický, the former captain of the Czech football team, announced his retirement at age 37. In his career, he played for Sparta Prague, Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal London, and earned the nickname "the little Mozart." His career lasted 18 years.

Golden hockey goalie Hnilička to be gov't sport commissioner

Malík is new head of Czech Football Association
