Poll: Most Czechs are against Nečas's comeback

Eight out of ten Czechs do not want former PM Petr Necas (Civic Democratic Party, ODS), who stepped down amid an illegal surveillance scandal in 2013, to return to politics, according to a poll conducted by the Median polling institute, daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) writes Thursday.

New Jan Hus trilogy to mark his death anniversary

Danish firm misuses identity of Czechs in order to gain subsidies

Court to decide on 5-percent barrier in EP elections

Cardinal: Czech church to get most of claimed property in 2015

The Catholic Church is likely to get up to 70 percent of its former property that it claimed within the property settlement between the churches and the Czech state by the end of the year, its highest representative in the country, Cardinal Dominik Duka, told CTK Thursday.
