PM: Job offices should focus on long-term jobless

Czech employment offices should focus more on the checking of welfare payment and on the search for the jobs for the long-term unemployed in the months to come, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (Social Democrats, ČSSD) told journalists after visiting the employment office headquarters yesterday.

Prague National Gallery to display Richter, Ai Weiwei in 2017

LN: Online hatred for Czech Roma growing

Some 80% of the contributions speaking about Czech Roma and posted online were negative last year, while in 2014, the proportion was only 65%, daily Lidové noviny (LN) reported yesterday, citing the data collected in a survey commissioned for the Hate Free Culture group.
