Report: Court to deal with Tibetan flag incident again

Courts will deal again with the incident in which two Chinese took a Tibetan flag from a protester and threw it into the river during a visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Prague in 2016 as the Supreme Court (NS) returned the case for reappraisal, the Seznam Zpravy server has reported.

Czech film,opera director Petr Weigl dies aged 79 years

Prague not to accept migrants from Italy, offers police, experts

The Czech Republic will not meet the Italian request and will not accept any refugees from the group of 450 that got stuck in a fisherman's boat, Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) told CTK on Sunday. Babis insists that the admission of migrants must be based on the principle of voluntary decision-making.

Bavarian TV: Czech ambassador not greeting Sudeten German meeting

The Czech ambassador attended a meeting of Sudeten Germans in Bavarian Wurzburg on Sunday, but he did not read the originally announced greeting probably over a recent rift between Prague and Berlin, the Bavarian TV BR has reported.

Charges brought in another branch of ex-politician Rath's case
