Gov't opposes limited duty to release property statements

Data from the central register of property statements of Czech politicians should continue to be available to all without any limit and no politicians should be exempted from the duty to submit their property statements to it, the minority government of Andrej Babis (ANO) decided on Wednesday.

Zeman to appoint Babiš PM again with 101 MPs' support only

President Miloš Zeman will demand signatures of at least an absolute majority of MPs (101) in support of Andrej Babiš's government during the second attempt before appointing him as prime minister-designate again, Zeman told reporters on leaving the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday.

Czech woman detained at Pakistani airport with nine kg of heroin

A Czech woman, 21, was detained at an airport in the Pakistani city of Lahore smuggling nine kilos of heroin on Wednesday, the Czech Foreign Affairs Ministry has confirmed the information of the Pakistani TV Geo informed.

Czech gov't supports proposal to tax church compensation

British Ambassador to Prague sells 1968 Škoda in charity auction

Lost book about Hebrew returns to Jewish Museum in Prague
