The Amnesty International (AI) group handed a petition against alleged discrimination against Roma at Czech schools, signed by over 38,000 people from 94 countries, to Czech Deputy Education Minister Jaroslav Fidrmuc yesterday.

V4 government heads to discuss migration crisis

The prime ministers of the Višegrad Group countries, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, will meet in the coming days to discuss the migration crisis in Europe. The Višegrad Four are increasingly concerned about the flow of migrants via the so-called west Balkans route.Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said later yesterday that the V4 meeting will be held in Prague on Friday afternoon. He said the goal of the meeting is to coordinate the positions of the four countries on the issues related to the migration crisis.

PM, president agree on 2016 budget priorities

Poll: Left-wing, right-wing camps equally strong in ČR

Health insurers should cover foreign children check-ups
