PM: ČR wants to more cooperate with CELAC nations

Czech court upholds jail verdict for Russian endangering plane

The Czech appeals court yesterday upheld the 2.5-year prison sentence for Yevgeni Rotshtein, a Russian who, drunken and under the name of Dogayev, endangered a plane flying from Moscow to Geneva in 2006 and caused the flight's emergency landing in Prague.

Police want access to more data to investigate web crime

The Czech National Security Council (BRS) approved yesterday a change to a government directive to bind Internet service providers to store data about target Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, which might help investigate serious criminal cases, Interior Minister Milan Chovanec told reporters.
