Karlovy Vary festival announces first films

The 54th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival runs June 28 to July 6 at the West Bohemian spa town of the same name. The main graphic for this year's festival was unveiled, and it is an optical illusion that shows the number 54 from a distance, but looks like a series of parallel lines up close.

Tram line likely for Motol

The Prague City Council approved commissioning a new study for a tram line from Vypich to Motol. It would run along Kukulová Street and connect with tram lines in Bílá Hora and Řepy. It would also serve Motol Hospital. But the line, if built, likely won't go into service for almost a decade.
