The Czech Republic reached 20th place in the 2019 edition of the annual World Happiness Report, published by United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network. The country had been ranked 21st in the previous report.

NHL's Flyers to meet Blackhawks in Prague

The NHL will start its season in Prague on Oct. 4, with the Philadelphia Flyers playing against the Chicago Blackhawks at Prague's O2 Arena. Tickets go on sale March 27 at 9 am on the Ticketportal network.

Bus stops might all become 'na znamení'

Prague's buses may soon end making stops where nobody gets on or off. Ropid, the organizer of Prague's transit system, has proposed a plan calling for all bus stops to be "na znamení," meaning people have to signal the driver ahead of time by pushing a button.

Kukburg Farm to Table offers sustainable meat
