A former industrial area at Nádrazí Holesovice is one step closer to being developed. The companies Geone Real Estate and Skanska Property have obtained a zoning decision for the site of the former concrete panel factory Prefa. The two real estate firms by 2022 want to build a project worth Kč 1.5 billion. A building permit has been applied for. The site in question covers approximately 5 hectares bounded by the two bridges Trojský most and most Barikádníků, the Vltava river and Nádrazí Holesovice railway station.

The Czech Financial Administration (Finanční správa) has obtained data on people who rent their real estate through Airbnb, an online service that effectively turns flats into short-term hotels. The administration has also launched an audit to see which of the legal entities including individuals has declared the Airbnb income properly.

The price of flats in Prague continues to rise. According to data made public by a group of real estate agencies the average price of flats in Prague rose by 24 percent year-on-year, reaching 94,000 crowns per square meter at the end of the second quarter. As compared to the first quarter in 2018 this is a rise of 6.2 percent.
