The Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ) received on November 29, 2016, from the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) European Commission’s verdict regarding the notification of support for renewable energy resources launched between January 1, 2016, and December 31, 2012. ERÚ’s chairwoman Alena Vitásková has stated that given the verdict’s extent it is impossible to estimate how much its analysis will require. The verdict concerns most renewables with support totalling ca. CZK 40bn in 2017.
