Varroc Lighting Systems is expanding its production and office premises. The development office in Ostrava expanded its facility by 50% in April. Varroc also plans to invest CZK 1.8bn into the expansion of production and development areas. In May 2016 the firm completed the work on 8,340 m2 of new production space. In October Varroc plans to open an electronics centre that will offer space for further 75 workers. The plant in Rychvald plans to add 8,750 m2 of production premises. The investments are aimed to create more than 400 new jobs in the next 18 years.
