Saint-Gobain Adfors CZ, a producer and processor of fiberglass yarns, opened a new production hall in Litomyšl on November 1, 2016. This will make it possible to raise the production of fiberglass material by 30%. Pavel Semirád, the director of the Litomyšl-based factory, said that the investment in the technology exceeded CZK 0.5bn in 2016. The company raised its employee base by 222 people thanks to investment in the production capacity extension in last two years. The company currently registers 1,800 core employees and it plans to hire 70 new ones in following months.
