ArcelorMittal Ostrava has presented its newly developed steel, designed to be used primarily in automotive industry, at the Brno International Engineering Fair. The company is manufacturing flat bars for flat springs used in vehicle hanging systems in a medium-soft rolling mill. The product portfolio’s expansion required an investment of over CZK 210m, scheduled to be completed in 2017. The medium-soft rolling mill is currently manufacturing up to 750,000 tons of steel products per day.
