Registrations of new ŠKODA passenger cars in Germany totalled 174,500 in 2014, up 14,500 y/y. The spokesperson for ŠKODA AUTO Deutschland GmbH’s management, Imelda Labbé, has stated that the brand is expanding to new customer groups both from the private and corporate sphere. ŠKODA brand registrations among small and large corporate fleet operators increased to 40,537 in the first 11 months of 2014, from 31,477 in 11M 2013. The company plans to continually boost its market share with the existing sales network in the coming years.
