Investment group KKCG has expanded to the US market, where it has formed the firm US Methanol. The investment of USD 160m is based on the group’s long-term strategy of investing on the most developed international markets. The deal will also enable the diversification of KKCG’s oil and gas mining portfolio. US Methanol will own and operate medium-sized methanol plants with the initial daily production of 450-500 tons. Production in the first factory will start in H2 2017.
