In the first five months of 2016, new passenger car registrations in the Czech Republic increased 16.44% on the year to 107,064 units. ŠKODA had the largest share with 35,693 vehicles (33.34%). It was followed by Volkswagen (10,373 units, +9.69%) and Hyundai (8,144 units, +7.61%). A total of 24,335 vehicles were registered in the Czech Republic in May (+34.35%), according to figures published by the Car Importers’ Association (SDA).
