German automotive technology producer Continental has launched the production of sensors for a more efficient procession of exhaust gases in diesel engines. The component is manufactured in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. Sensors measure the level, quality, and temperature of a water solution of synthetic urea in the liquid additive AdBlue. This reduced emissions of nitrogen oxides.
