Czech Minister of Agriculture Marian Jurečka (KDU-ČSL) has prepared a series of measures helping Czech farmers as a reaction on a critical situation of some producers. Besides a further aid from the European Union, he proposes also a temporary reduction of taxes or an exemption from insurance payments. The ministry is considering also a payment of compensations for damages caused by spring frosts.
