Compared to June, consumer prices in the Czech Republic grew 0.3% in July 2016. The year-on-year increase in prices in the segment of recreation and culture was caused by a 12.8% increase in the seasonal prices of all-inclusive holiday packages. The majority of food items got more expensive in the segment of food and non-alcoholic beverages. The year-on-year increase in consumer prices increased to 0.5% in July 2016 from 0.1% in June due to a less significant decrease in prices in the segment of food and non-alcoholic beverages . These figures were published by the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ).
