Benteler Automotive will open its fifth production facility in the Czech Republic at the end of 2017. The plant for the production of automobile parts will be created at the industrial park in Klášterec nad Ohøí and it will offer 500 jobs. The plant in Jablonec nad Nisou was also expanded in 2016. The existing built-up area increased by one third to roughly 11,000 m2. A further 70 employees have been employed here. At present the company thus employees more than 2,100 employees at plants in Liberec, Chrastava, Rumburk and Jablonec nad Nisou.
