ŠKODA AUTO recorded a 1% year-on-year increase in global supplies to customers and delivered 83,700 vehicles. Among the main markets, China (+16.1%; 21,400 vehicles) and Russia (+11.6%; 4,700 vehicles) gained the most. In the Czech Republic, 7,100 vehicles (-8.1%) were supplied to customers. The carmaker said that the results in Central Europe were affected by plant-wide holidays in the Czech production plants. Among the individual models, the ŠKODA Superb gained the most worldwide (+92.7%; 9,500). Within the framework of launching new models, the company is preparing for the world premiere of the ŠKODA Kodiaq, which will take place on September 1 in Berlin. The model will be sold as of February 2017.
