Avast Software, maker of PC and mobile security, recorded yet another excellent year in 2014. Financially, Avast finished the year with revenue of USD 217 million, representing 51 percent year-on-year growth, and EBITDA of USD 154 million. Some 99 percent of the revenue was generated outside the Czech Republic. In addition to its impressive financial performance, Avast added nearly 30 million new users to its already market-leading total of 230 million.
