Raiffeisenbank extended almost 4,900 mortgages exceeding CZK 10.5bn in H1 2016, up 37% y/y. The average mortgage exceeded CZK 2.15m. Totally 40% of clients used the mortgages to buy a property, 25% to finance construction and/or reconstruction. The remaining 35% were formed by other purposes, incl. refinancing.
