DB Schenker is planning to invest CZK 300m in its transport network in 2015. The company will increase the area of warehouses and cross docks in the Czech Republic by 30,000 m2 and will also invest in better equipment, for instance it will increase the number of ramps or offer better facilities and accessibility. Within the framework of a ČIANEWS survey, this information was provided by DB Schenker director Tomáš Holomoucký who added that the company was also planning to invest in new IT systems for management and the company’s daily operations in 2015.
