Insurer Allianz Pojišťovna generated net profit of CZK 1.04bn in 2014. Gross premium billing totalled CZK 12.25bn; life insurance premium billing totalled CZK 4.04bn and non-life insurance CZK 8.21bn. Allianz Pojišťovna’s board of directors chairman Jakub Strnad has commented that the insurer launched new car insurance on the market in 2014, offering e.g. direct handling of claims related to health damages. In the life insurance segment, Allianz offers the “PRO Boj s Rakovinou” supplementary insurance for cancer treatment.
