In 2015 DB Schenker reported more than a 10% increase in the turnover. The company carried more than one million consignments, up by almost 20%. A further 10% increase is estimated for 2016. This information was provided to ČIANEWS by director Tomáš Holomoucký who added that further growth was limited by a lack of high-quality employees. That is why DB Schenker wants to focus on staff recruitment. As for international transport, the main risks are at Calais when travelling to the UK. The situation in Ukraine and economic sanctions against Russia also remain uncertain.
