More than 70,000 m2 of new retail centres will be registered in the Czech Republic in 2017. This stems from a survey conducted by Cushman & Wakefield (C&W). A growth by approximately 8.1 million m2 is predicted in Europe in H2 2016 and 2017. Some 1.3 million m2 of new retail centres were registered in Europe in H1 2016 and this represents a decrease by 7% y/y. Turkey and Russia accounted for 40% of the new retail centres’ area.
