RWE plans to build 50 public CNG filling stations in the next few years. A few weeks ago it opened its second station in Plzeň and it strengthened its existing station in Brno. In June 2015 it will open a station in Olomouc. In the first half of the year it also expects to open a second station in Brno. By the end of the year RWE should open stations in at least five more locations. This was stated in a ČIANEWS survey by RWE group spokesman Martin Chalupský, according to whom the Czech Republic has potential for roughly 250 CNG filling stations.
