Forest management company Lesy České Republiky (LČR) invested ca. CZK 250m from its own resources (excl. subsidies) in H1 2015. LČR’s investments are of seasonal nature and the major portion of the funds will thus be used in the second half of the year. LČR’s general director Daniel Szórád has stated in an interview for ČIANEWS that the firm plans to invest ca. CZK 1.2bn in the full year of 2015. According to Mr. Szórád, the investments will focus on works and projects for the renewal of forest’s production function, the development and modernisation of building equipment and machinery (incl. IT) and water course development and maintenance.
