The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO) is preparing the investment platform National Innovation Fund. The fund will focus on the support of smart solutions in firms. This was stated by Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek (ČSSD) at the opening ceremony of the Smart Business Festival on October 26, 2016. MPO intends to support research institutions with help of the programme Proof-of-Concept so. It is able to financial support good ideas already in the pre-seed phase.
