The chairwoman of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ), Alena Vitásková, refused to approve the implementation of the new tariff structure without changes in the format that is now subject to the consultation process. Ms. Vitásková ordered on ERÚ’s management’s meeting on November 12, 2015, to open the public consultation and adjust the tariffs based on the consultations. The new tariff structure model was prepared by the expert team led by ERÚ’s deputy chairman Jan Nehoda. According to Ms. Vitásková, the experts have prepared a solely mathematic model that does not take into account various social and other aspects of the market.
