Power utility ČEZ has signed a memorandum of understanding with the firm Centrepoint Verne on the development of its project in the Verne industrial zone in Ústí nad Labem Region. According to ČEZ, the memorandum covers the option for building a direct line and deliveries from the Prunéřov power plant into the Verne zone. The zone’s owner is readying the DataHub Verne data centre project. Centrepoint Verne’s general director John Stotter has stated that based on the memorandum the project entered the phase of permission proceeding for the line‘s building. Centrepoint Verne now plans to address investors and potential clients of the future data centre.
