Czech National Bank (CNB) will gradually take over the supervision over the entire consumer loan market, incl. non-banking companies, with effect from December 1, 2016. This is due to the effect of the new consumer loan act. The law introduces e.g. licences for non-banking consumer loan providers and changes the rules and options for early mortgage repayment.
