Singer says no impact from Irish debt woes

The Irish debt crisis has no significant impact on the Czech Republic because it does not affect core euro zone which is the main Czech export market, central bank (ČNB) Governor Miroslav Singer said on Thursday. He also said he was not worried that the bank’s new quarterly forecast predicting 1.2% GDP growth next year was too pessimistic, as suggested by ČNB board member Eva Zamrazilová.
