Czech crown highest vs euro since November 2008

The Czech crown hit a more than two-year high against the euro on Wednesday, extending a rally with other central European currencies as economic data improves and expectations of higher interest rates grow in the region. The crown rose to 24.333 to the euro by 1615 GMT, its highest level since November 2008, according to Reuters data. The crown has gained 2.8% since the start of 2011.
