Czech interest rates should be higher than they are, central bank Vice-Governor Mojmir Hampl was quoted as saying in an interview with Roklen 24 before his final policy meeting.
The Czech National Bank has raised rates at its last three meetings and meets again on Nov. 1, which will be the last session for Hampl – who has been the biggest advocate for rate hikes – before his term on the board ends.
