Czech Finance Minister Alena Schillerová said on Sunday she would propose a 2019 central state budget with a lower-than-planned deficit of 40 billion crowns. The government has already approved a budget framework with a deficit of 50 billion crowns, unchanged from the 2018 target, although Schillerová told a debate on Czech television on Sunday that rising wages would boost tax revenues next year.
