Prague, Sept 8 (CTK) – A new Czech think tank, Institut 2080, has been founded in reaction to the crisis of governing in the country and the incapability of the elites to find the real causes of the recent crises, its founders write on Institut 2080 website.
The think tank wants to analyse the hottest social problems and seek their solutions.
Its name refers to the 80-20 rule of Italian economist and sociologist Vilfredo Pareto who claimed that 80 percent of the results of human activities are products of 20 percent of the effort.
Institut 2080 would like to inspire politicians, universities, firms and individuals to reach 80 percent of the results using 20 percent of the effort, its founders write on the website.
The think tank was founded by political analyst Petr Robejsek, former IT minister Dana Berova and manager Petr Smida, and its supervisory board includes former Czech ambassador to the USA, Petr Kolar, economist Pavel Kohout and manager Magdalena Soucek.
